By following these simple guidelines, Gabriel’s Touch Massage will be able to provide you with the best possible service.

Client Terms & Conditions:

By booking and attending a treatment with me, Yvonne Gabriel of Gabriel’s Touch Massage, it is taken as proof that you have read, understood and agree by the Terms and Conditions as outlined here as well as the Privacy Statement.

Consent for receiving marketing data via post, email, phone or text can be withdrawn at any time – by emailing the request through to hello@gabrielstouchmassage.com.

Gabriel’s Touch Massage relies on your honesty and open-ness at all times when discussing your past and present medical histories. Its purpose is so  therapist  can accurately gauge your needs and requirements and alter  the  therapy and massage treatments (and the ingredients involved with those treatments), accordingly, to give you the maximum benefit.

Clients must agree to the following:

  • To arrive only at specified appointment time (no more than 5 minutes early as there are no waiting facilities)
  • To wash hands on arrival and following toilet use
  • To remove shoes and leave near entrance
  • To notify the Gabriel’s Touch Massage, or therapist ASAP via text, call or email (hello@gabrielstouchmassage.com) ) if I feel I feel unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms prior to my appointment.  
  • To advise my therapist if I contract Covid 19 within 3 days of visiting Gabriel’s Touch Massage.
  • I verify that I have been advised of clinic procedure, have answered the pre-screening questions, and confirm that I am medically safe to have treatment to the best of their knowledge, and in no way hold Gabriel’s Touch Massage  or practitioner responsible if I contract COVID post treatment.
  •   I understand that this is a non-sexual service and Gabriel’s Touch Massage is dedicated to providing professional services to individuals looking for muscular relief for tension and relaxation.  Only main areas of body will be focused on. Draping will be used during the session – only the area being worked on will be uncovered. I also understand that there are no shower facilities available at the venue post treatment, but a towel is used to absorb as much oil/lotion as possible.
  •  Clients under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the entire session. Informed written consent must be provided by parent or legal guardian for any client under the age of 17. I understand that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises such that anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 is asked to provide proof of their age where required.
  •  I agree to complete the client form as outlined for first time clients, pay in advance of the treatment as well as giving consent to the Therapist to carry out treatment based on the client consultation. I shall provide all of my health and medical information to the best of my knowledge, in full and agree to it being kept privately, confidentially and in the understanding that it shall never be passed onto or read by any third parties without my consent – as per the Privacy Statement on Gabriel’s Touch Massage website. I agree to update Yvonne or Gabriel’s Touch Massage with information regarding any changes to any ongoing medical treatments as these changes may affect my therapy treatments.
  •  I understand that any ongoing treatment after the first session is consent based on the first client form that was completed and signed by myself.
  •  I also understand that some minor bruising could result from massage but am aware this will go away in due course.
  • I understand that massage and other similar body-work treatments are therapeutic in nature and are NOT a substitute for medical examination or medical care. I understand that the Therapist is not a Doctor and does not diagnose conditions. However, if the Therapist notices any abnormalities on the body or the Range of Motion (ROM), she may recommend that you seek medical/ specialist advice.
  • Where necessary, I have checked with my medical practitioner/ GP to see if I can have massage treatment and agree to provide Gabriel’s Touch Massage with a consent letter where needed – for example if I am living  with cancer and am undergoing treatment.
  • I agree to honour all existing and future medical practitioner appointments. I also agree NOT to stop any course of medication or treatment as prescribed by my local GP or other medical practitioner without first discussing this with them. I agree that any therapy or treatment given by Gabriel’s Touch Massage should not be used in place of conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a healthcare professional for medical attention and advice.
  • Where applicable Gabriel’s Touch Massage might provide stretching exercises to help improve and increase mobility and range of movement, but it does not replace doctor or specialist diagnosis and if under doctor care for injury management – all exercises suggested by Gabriel’s Touch Massage must be run by the Doctor or GP first before applying them.
  • Gabriel’s Touch Massage business, Yvonne Gabriel herself, or anyone acting on her behalf do not assume or accept responsibility for a clients’ healthcare needs. Any therapies you may undertake are done so voluntarily by you on the understanding that you have read and abide by the Terms and Conditions as set out above.

Covid-19

To ensure the safety of our clients and staff, Gabriel’s Touch Massage adheres to industry and government guidelines regarding Covid-19. I understand that if I have COVID-19 symptoms, I must let the Therapist know as soon as possible so my appointment can be rescheduled. I’ll ensure that I have no fever prior to an appointment and am healthy to proceed with treatment. I understand that if I have had a vaccine a few days before or on the day of my appointment, I could be advised to reschedule my appointment or be sent home to ensure my safety.

Cancellations, Late Arrivals and Refunds

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, and out of consideration for your therapist’s time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • Cancellation Policy: 24 hours’ notice is required. If you anticipate being unable to attend your appointment, please cancel at your earliest convenience.
  • To cancel your appointment, kindly email at hello@gabrielstouchmassage at least 24 hours before your appointment.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before the appointment) or failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the booking fee, and the credit/debit card that you provided at the time of booking will be charged accordingly.
  • Late Arrivals: While we make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, it may be necessary to cut your appointment short. Arriving more than 20 minutes after the scheduled time may result in the cancellation of the appointment and full payment being due.
  • Refund Procedure: Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund, subject to a £5 processing fee. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 3-5 business days.
  • Please note that this policy ensures fairness to our therapists and allows us to manage our schedule effectively. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding the refund policy.
  • Rescheduling your appointment: You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must occur within 30 days of the original appointment. Appointments can be rescheduled a maximum of three times within 30 days. Failure to attend the rescheduled appointment within 30 days will result in cancellation and forfeiture of the booking fee.
  • Exceptions: Gabriel’s Touch Massage may consider exceptions to the cancellation policy in cases of emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
  • No-Show Policy: Clients who fail to attend without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Special Circumstances: In the unlikely event of your appointment needing to be rescheduled by ourselves due to the therapist’s sickness or other circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Gift Vouchers

  •  I understand that the Gift Voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. These are non-refundable if not used within the six -month period from time of purchase. Gift Voucher must be brought to the session, if it is forgotten the treatment will need to be rescheduled.
