Wood Therapy

Wooden tools used to improve lymphatic drainage, sculpt and tone the body

About

Wood Therapy (also known as Maderotherapy) is an ancient practice originating from Asian countries and more recently South America. Specially designed wooden tools such as rollers and contouring boards are used with firm rhythmic movements to massage and stimulate different areas of the body, including the face. The primary goal is to sculpt the body through the break down of fat deposits and cellulite, improve lymphatic drainage and enhance overall body tone. Beyond aesthetic benefits, wood therapy has holistic benefits and can also be used to ease muscle and joint pain.

The effects of Wood Therapy can be seen almost immediately, however for best results, regular treatments (weekly or fortnightly) are advised and should be a part of a holistic, healthy and wellbeing supportive lifestyle.

Wood Therapy is often used alongside Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage.
